Baby Boomer Grows UP!

Queen Ra here, taking a look at myself.  These past few days I feel I am in the midst of a turn around in my life. I have been going to the Downtown Womens' Center for about five years or so...off and on.

At first I used to go to just eat a good meal and maybe get some clothes but I never really got involved.  I didn't think I needed any more help than that.  After losing my housing during Occupy Los Angeles ( due to bed bugs and roaches)..I have been traveling around the world trying to figure out my housing challenges.

It has been a journey and not one with out tears....and joy...

This week I stood up as a "leader" at Downtown Womens Center

So any way I wanted to say I feel a change taking place in me and around me.....being of service really is key to recovery of any kind.

It feels good when the women at the center call my name out- I feel the love...thanks ladies you made my day!

The Cooking Club at DWC!  we get different groups coming all week!
